Lil Geek of the Week

Rodney submitted this picture to the Geek Parenting website. They loved it so much they made it the Lil’ Geek of the Week.
Rodney prides himself on raising kids to love Sci-fi, science, and technology, so having a 3 year old son that knows how to turn on the computer and go play games on the Disney website by himself makes his heart flutter. The only problem is getting Ray off the computer, but its not that hard when his two older sisters are waiting for their turn.

Dad’s and Doughnuts

Rodney got to go to Kelly’s kindergarten class for Dad’s and Doughuts for a pre-Father’s day celebration. It was great. Rodney loved the Father’s day present he got from Kelly. It was her handprint cast in concrete, as soon as Rodney figures out how to hang it up, its going in his cubicle at work.

Legoland

Ray at Legoland
The Williams family recently went to Legoland. It was fun, but it doesn’t compare to the fun had at Disneyland. Elizabeth did get some creative shots of the kids though.

Kelly’s 6th Birthday Party

Elizabeth did the decorations
Kelly’s birthday party was a megapartyroma. Tons of kids played in the jumpy, ate fresh cotton candy (from a rented cotton candy machine), busted a pinata, played games, enjoyed the beautiful decorations, and ate tons of food. Needless to say, Mom and Dad were dead tired after the party, and complete cleanup took a few days … but it was worth it.

Easter 2008

Every Easter, the Williams Family goes to church with Rodney’s parents, goes out for Easter dinner, and has and Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. What a fun time! The kids almost found all 80 eggs this year! I guess they like to leave some for Grandpa to find.

Ray’s 3rd Birthday Party

Every kid in the Williams house, has their 3rd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. We don’t know why, its just tradition. This year was Ray’s turn, it was Spiderman themed and powered by sugar and pizza.

Christmas 2008

Santa came to town and the Williams’ kids were ready for him. They rushed downstairs in a flurry of excitement to see what loot they had gained for being good kids for Mom and Dad. Lots of presents were opened, but only a chosen few became favorites.
Rachel’s Favorite: The Eyeclops
Kelly’s Favorite: American Girl doll
Ray’s Favorite: Batman pajamas
Everyones Favorite: Nintendo Wii

Rachel’s Last Soccer Game

Rachel played her last AYSO soccer game this weekend. She did pretty good this year, she was considered to be one of the best players on the team. Next year Rachel will play soccer again but she’ll be in the U10 girls grouping. Kelly will play next year as well, and Ray will cheer them on waiting to get a little older so he can have his chance.

Disneyland I Like a Second Home

Kelly on Pirate Island

The Williams’ have gone to Disneyland alot over the years, but their is always more to discover. This was the first time they went to Tom Sawyer Island and it was a blast! They have remodeled the island with a Pirate of Caribbean theme and added a more interactive items to make it complete.

The kids were afraid to walk into the dark caves, but after a while, Mom and Dad had a hard time trying to keep up.

Crazy Hair Day At School

Elizabeth put balloons in the girls hair for crazy hair day at school. It took her quite a while but they payoff was outstanding.
